The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR)
Is the not-for-profit global humanitarian aid organization of the United Methodist Church. UMCOR is working in more than 80 countries worldwide, including the United States. Our mission, grounded in the teachings of Jesus, is to alleviate human suffering—whether caused by war, conflict or natural disaster, with open hearts and minds to all people.

UMCOR responds to natural or civil disasters that are interruptions of such magnitude that they overwhelm a community's ability to recover on its own.

Worship at PFUMC is a glorious time to celebrate the
goodness of God, the forgiveness we have because of
Jesus Christ and the presence of the Holy Spirit with us!
The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated on the
first Sunday of every month and we celebrate an "open table"
which means all may take communion without regard to
church membership.  Everyone is welcome at the Lord's Table!

Our style of worship is "blended" with some traditional
elements and some modern elements, anchoring us in the
historic faith while being open to the presence of God's Holy Spirit
at work through modern song writers and other creative worship
elements.  Pastor Scott's messages are new each week, grounded
in in-depth study of the Scriptures, and explained and presented
in modern and relevant ways to show the timeless truths of
Scripture speak to the
issues, problems, concerns and
 challenges we face every day!
