Community Connections

Putting Christ’s love into action is a rewarding experience for our congregation. Through ministries with homeless families as a host congregation for the Interfaith Hospitality Network to collecting items for flood relief or school supplies for local children, we seek to put our faith into practice. We cooperate with other United Methodist churches in outreach ministries through the Johnson City District of the Holston Conference. In addition, we work with other congregations in the community in times of worship and service. In recent years, we have joined with area churches in the construction of two houses through Habitat for Humanity and have sent three mission teams to help with hurricane relief in Louisiana and Mississippi.
